1. Order Processing & Dispatch
At Halcyon Advanced Materials, we recognize that timeline precision is critical in laboratory environments. All verified orders are processed and dispatched within 24 to 48 business hours. Orders placed after 2:00 PM (EST) on Fridays or during weekends will be processed the following business day to prevent materials from sitting in uncontrolled transit warehouses over the weekend.
2. Cold-Chain Logistics & Packaging
The structural integrity of research peptides and complex compounds is highly susceptible to extreme temperature fluctuations. To combat this, we employ rigorous packaging protocols:
- Lyophilization: Most of our peptides are shipped in a lyophilized (freeze-dried) state, rendering them highly stable at room temperature for transit durations up to 30 days.
- Cold-Chain Insulation: For highly sensitive liquid solutions or specific compounded blends, orders are packaged with thermal shielding and specialized ice packs.
- We offer Free Expedited Laboratory Delivery on all orders exceeding €175 to minimize transit time exposure.
3. International Shipping & Customs Clearance
We successfully ship to laboratories worldwide. However, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to be fully aware of their country's specific importation laws, customs regulations, and required permits regarding research chemicals. Halcyon Advanced Materials will provide all necessary commercial invoices and Declarations of Chemical Analysis. We are not responsible for packages seized, delayed, or destroyed by foreign customs agencies, and no refunds will be issued in such events.
4. The Absolute "No-Return" Policy
In the highly controlled field of molecular research, the Chain of Custody is paramount. Once a vial leaves our climate-controlled facility, we can no longer guarantee the environmental conditions (temperature, light exposure, physical shock) it has been subjected to.
Therefore, to guarantee that every customer receives 100% pristine, uncompromised, and sterile materials directly from our lab, WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, EXCHANGES, OR REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES once an order has been dispatched.
We do not resell "returned" products. If you ordered the wrong item by mistake, you must contact us before the item is handed over to the courier. Once tracking is generated, the sale is final.
5. Missing, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
While we operate under strict Quality Assurance protocols with video-recorded packaging, carrier mishaps can occur. If your package arrives physically damaged, or if you receive an incorrect item, you must notify our support team within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp.
You will be required to provide high-resolution photographs of the unopened vials, the internal packaging, and the external shipping box. Upon verification of the carrier damage or our internal fulfillment error, a replacement will be dispatched immediately at our expense. Refunds are not provided; only replacements for damaged/incorrect goods.
